Variety to Host Inaugural Women of Reality TV Dinner

Variety will host the first-ever Women of Reality TV Dinner, presented by DIRECTV, on Nov. 29 in Los Angeles, honoring the successful reality TV genre and its stars. The invite-only event will feature three reality-focused panels moderated by Variety editors.

A “Legacy Panel” will feature Kandi Burruss of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Carrie Ann Inaba of “Dancing With the Stars,” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley of “Jersey Shore,” Cirie Fields of “Survivor” and “Big Brother,” Whitney Port of “The Hills” and Kyle Richards of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The conversation will be moderated by Variety’s editor-at-large, Kate Aurthur.

Next, the “Fan-Favorite Personalities of Reality TV” panel, moderated by Variety’s TV features editor Emily Longeretta, will feature Paige DeSorbo of “Summer House,” Charity Lawson of “The Bachelorette” and “Dancing With the Stars,” Sasha Colby of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and Mary Bonnet of “Selling Sunset.”

‘Real Housewives Of Potomac’ Returns To Bravo With Best 7-Day Premiere Audience In 8 Years;

…A few days later, The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 debuted on November 5, scoring 2.1M total viewers in its first seven days. About a million of those viewers came from the 18-49 demo. According to NBCU, that’s the show’s most-watched season premiere in eight years in terms of total viewers, up 15% from the Season 7 debut.

 The RHOP Season 8 premiere was also up 20% among adults 18-49, marking the show’s best premiere demo audience in three years. It’s also the most-watched RHOP episode ever on Peacock, ranking No. 6 against all next-day NBCU cable entertainment season premieres.

'Ink Master' Judge Nikko Hurtado Talks 'New Level' of Artistry Coming to Season 15 (Exclusive)

Ink Master is back for a brand new season that's taking things to a "new level" in terms of tattooing and challenges. Ahead of the Nov. 1 premiere of the first three episodes on Paramount+, Ink Master judge Nikko Hurtado opened up to PopCulture.com about the season to come, including the addition of three-time winner DJ Tambe to the judging panel. 

With Tambe joining returning judges Hurtado and Ryan Ashley, Hurtado told PopCulture there's a new dynamic on the panel. "DJ's such a great tattooer, great artist, and so well-spoken," he gushed. "So to get his critiques and to hear him speak to these artists that respect him tremendously was great to watch." It was a treat to judge the 15 artists competing for the title of Ink Master and $250,000 this season, Hurtado noted, as the show always brings things to a "new level" artistically and in terms of the "twists and turns" awaiting the competitors.
