VH1 has renewed its hit reality series franchise “Basketball Wives,” and ready to hit the court are several newcomers, including internet personality Brittany Renner.
Season 11 of “Basketball Wives” is on its way, and fans can get rest easy, as their fan favorites Jennifer Williams, Jackie Christie and Brooke Bailey are all heading back to the television screen the show’s renewal. Who also will be making a comeback is “Basketball Wives” original Evelyn Lozada, who left the show twice before. Executive producer Shaunie Henderson will make a guest appearance during the season.

According to Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, SVP of programming at Truly Productions, Bravo approached the production company two years ago about wanting to develop a show in the area. Haughton-Lawson, who’s worked on Real Housewives of Atlanta and Potomac, says she immediately understood the appeal of wanting to film a show in the Martha’s Vineyard area.

Overseeing multiple seasons of “The Real Housewives,” the Truly Original team also produce the “Kandi & the Gang” spinoff and took the franchise international with Dubai. With “Summer House” and “Winter House” in their wheelhouse, they’ve also expanded to MTV, producing the LGBTQ ensemble doc “The Real Friends of WeHo.”
